To promote and protect the Eletrical Trade and safeguard the interests of the Electrical Merchants, Manufacturers, Wiring Contractors and other allied trades.

To consider all matters relating to the rights and privileges of the Indian Electrical Merchants, manufacturers and Wiring contractors and provide ways and means and finding solution to their problems and make representation to Government, public or mercantile body or association or any other person and to give publicity to their views.

To collect, classify and circulate statistics and other information relating to commercial interests in general and in particular to electrical trade.

To communicate with and make representations to authorities and Chamber of Commerce and other Mercantile and Public Association throughout the world, and concert and promote measures of protection and furtherance of the electrical trade in the common good of the persons engaged therein.

To advance and promote commercial and technical education and to support establishment and institutions for such purposes.

To maintain a Library of Books and Publications and Literature so as to diffuse commercial information and knowledge amongst the members of the Association.

To nominate representative, delegates and advisers to represent the Association, at any Government or Public or Private Body or Institution.

To subscribe to become member with any other organisation, whether incorporated or not, whose objects are wholly or partly identical with or similar to those of the Association and procure from and communicate to any such organisation such information as may be likely to further the objects of the Association.

To organise, establish and create such institutions and organisations and to affiliate them to this body and to encourage, finance, organise, facilitate and conduct such educational and cultural activities as may be found necessary for the fulfillment of the growing life of the citizens as far as possible.

To organise, conduct, and run co-operative societies, mess and canteen if-necessary.

To render assistance to members in legal, Government-aid., Import and Export quotas and advise members on labour problem, trademarks etc.
